Mkomazi National Park

Mkomazi National park is a fifth largest Tanzania national park, located in northeast Tanzania on the Kenyan border, lying between Kilimanjaro and Tanga regions, covering the area of 3,245 km2.

The Mkomazi national park is a spectacular wilderness, the park find itself in a beautiful setting with both the Pare and Usambara mountains towering above its boundaries.

The Mkomazi national park is rich in Flora and Fauna, and it is home to large herds of giraffe, eland, hartebeest, zebra, buffalo, elephant, wild dogs, black rhinos, lions, leopards, warthogs and more than 400 species of birds. The park is an ideal destination for game viewing, walking safari, hiking, bird watching, night game drive, picnicking and camping safari.
