Burigi-Chato National Park is a third largest Tanzania National park. The park is close to Lake Victoria on the border with Rwanda, and is surrounded by the Kagera River and Lake Burigi.
The Burigi National Park is a typical grasslands area of the African Savannah, it covers the area of 4,702 km2. The park is home to a wide collection of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, chimpanzees and gorillas.
